Forged in 2012 by co-songwriters John McLaverty (guitar,vocals) and David McCann (ukulele, guitar,vocals), Northern Ireland-based, genre-straddling collective the Sandrunners formally introduced themselves to the world in January, 2014 with their debut EP 'Angel Of The Northern Wind,' and the title of the six track release is rather apt, as the eight-piece really do make a rather heavenly sound.
